GRAVE OF THE FIREFLIES Movie
The story speaks
for the confiding and fraternal relationship between siblings and their affinity.
The factual narrative itself is based on the original events of two sibling Seita
and Setsuko from the timeline of 1945. It takes place in the Japan in the
course of World War 2 against America, reflecting the ambience of civilians,
yet the sorrow, depression and the reality of world war way of life is more
than meets the eye. There’s a saying that “Tears are the words that the heart
can’t express”, which you may able to see in this charismatic film. The good
part though you’ll not know the tie-up of the title and the plot of the tale (Of
course without any spoilers) until the very end. It also reflects the graveness
or value of food in one’s life, however, it’s a movie review not a social article,
so, I’m taking that crunch in brief. It bears out the darkness of the war
circumstance through the classic animation style by Ghibli Studio.
